It takes a great deal of training, skill, and experience to properly repair asphalt which is why certain jobs are better left to the professionals.

Our pathway sealing process is similar to the one we use for commercial parking lots and major roadways, except it’s one a smaller scale. First, we identify the type of crack we’re dealing with and then use an industrial high torque Marathon carbide-tip crack routing machine to rout the crack. This gives us better control during the filling process. Then we eradicate all debris and dust particles from the crack and surrounding area to guarantee the sealant will bond correctly with the asphalt. Before sealing can commence, we always closely inspect the crack to make sure there’s no debris left behind. Specialized mobile material applicators are then used to apply the sealant to the crack and ensure that it’s strong enough to fill the gap indefinitely.

Asphalt repairs are our speciality! Regular asphalt maintenance is absolutely crucial to extending the lifespan of your pathway and we’re just the right contractors for the job. From evening out your pavement to repairing cracks or simply repaving your pathway to keep it looking and functioning like new, we’re ready to take on any job, big or small.

Oil Stain Treatment

Oil stains are inevitable on pathways and sometimes they might run deeper below the surface than you can tell, which could ruin the integrity of your asphalt. At Sure-Seal, we implement a two-step process to remove oil stains completely. We start by using a torch to burn off the surface oil, which effectively reduces the saturation of the oil in the asphalt. Then, we carefully coat the oil stain with a specially formulated acrylic-based primer. This bonds to the asphalt and creates a barrier between the sealcoat and the surface, preventing the oil from penetrating the freshly sealed surface. If the oil is extremely saturated and still wet to the touch, that part of the asphalt will most likely need to be cut and patched for maximum results.

Catch Basin Repair

You probably don’t think about your catch basin much until it’s in need of repairs. When that time comes, Sure-Seal is ready for the challenge. Procrastinating on fixing your clogged or damaged catch basin is a mistake because this mechanism is responsible for draining any excess rain water on your pathway. If left stagnant, this water will eventually penetrate beneath the surface of your pathway and compromise its structural integrity by eroding it. Luckily, we have an elaborate five-step process for repairing catch basins.
